Pick a community that is hard to guess — not public.
snmp-agent sys-info version v2c v3
snmp-agent community read cipher myolt-ro-7Hq2
# older MA56xx firmware without 'cipher': snmp-agent community read myolt-ro-7Hq2
If your OLT limits SNMP with an ACL (for example
snmp-agent community read cipher X acl 2001), add your MikroTik's IP to that ACL:
acl 2001 rule permit source 192.168.88.1 0 quit
Create a separate user, so you can see in the OLT log what MyOLT did and remove it any time.
terminal user name User Name(length<6,15>): myolt01 User Password(length<6,15>): ******** Confirm Password(length<6,15>): ******** User profile name(<=15 chars)[root]: root User's Level: 1. Common User 2. Operator 3. Administrator: 2 Permitted Reenter Number(0--4): 3 User's Appended Info(<=30 chars): MyOLT panel
Operator is enough for ONU work (authorize, reboot, VLAN, speed, TR-069). Choose Administrator if you also want MyOLT to create line / service / traffic profiles. Keep your other users (and SmartOLT's, if any) as they are — MyOLT does not touch them.
sysman service telnet enable
# only if 'display sysman firewall' shows the telnet firewall is enabled:
sysman ip-access telnet 192.168.88.1 192.168.88.1quit save
display snmp-agent community read display terminal user name myolt01
Then in your panel: OLTs → Add → IP 192.168.88.10 (real IP), model Detect automatically,
telnet user myolt01 and its password, SNMP empty → Save.
/ping 192.168.88.10 on the MikroTik.
